School Improvement and Headteacher performance management
Bill has worked with leaders, staff and pupils in Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools, including special schools, to offer some of the following whole school improvement packages.
Bill supports a number of Governing Boards in their HTPM as an external adviser. He has experience of all aspects of this critical function of school improvement: as a trainer for governors on HTPM; as a governor serving on the HTPM panel; and as an experienced external adviser.
Supporting Senior Leadership and Governing Boards in developing the ethos, values and climate of learning across the school. This includes facilitating discussions, activities to engage the whole community and exploring what difference this will make in the classrooms and across the whole school.
Supporting and training middle leadership in schools, whether as subject leads for RE and PSHCE, or middle leadership from a whole school perspective, eg monitoring and evaluation, questioning and thinking, values, ethos and SMSC.
Developing and enhancing learning and teaching within subjects and across the whole school. Bill has developed bespoke packages for schools, or see the offer on the Learning and Teaching page.
